1000s of lives impacted

In the last quarter (July – October), CBN Africa embarked on 4 medical missions impacting the lives of over of 5,000 people. Within the same period, 48 water wells were dug in various rural communities in Northern Nigeria.

The medical team tended wounds, carried out minor surgeries, recommended and gave out reading glasses, and dispensed drugs to the poor in communities visited, all at no cost.

  • From September 15th – 22nd 2016, the team was in Matankari Niger Republic, where 1,803 people were attended to; 15 surgeries were done, and 30 people of gave their lives to Jesus.
  • From October 14th – 15th 2016, the team was in Dape, AMAC Area Council, FCT, where 1,250 people were attended to; 250 people where given reading glasses, 44 minor surgeries were done and 420 people gave their lives to Jesus.
  • From October 26th – 29th 2016, the team was at Agwabi, in Buruku LGA, Benue State, where 2,802 people were attended to; 430 people were given reading glasses, and 2,301 people gave their lives to Jesus.
  • From October 27th to 29th, 2016, the team was at Isuanoma, Agwata LGA, Anambra State.

CBN Living Water Wells program focuses on providing the poor with fresh, potable water in various rural communities in Nigeria. Most of these wells are located in semi-arid and arid communities mostly in northern Nigeria where potable water is scarce. This quarter we dug wells in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Niger, Plateau and Nasarawa states.
